Jeremy Clemente - Head Researcher Throughout high school, Jeremy has always had a passion for the scientific world, prompting him to think up the idea for this innovations class project. He has a strong background in the sciences from taking many advanced science course in school such as AP Chemistry, AP Biology, Genetics Bacteriology Biotechnology and Embryology, Organic Chemistry and more. What has advanced his scientific knowledge the most, however, is the 6-week long research internship he completed this summer at Wayne State University's medical school, where he executed original research in a laboratory in the field of microbiology. As head researcher of this project, he hopes to do cutting edge research trials with a very intriguing area of science that can hopefully one day help a lot of people all around the world.
Neha Paragi- Assistant Researcher Neha Paragi has always been deeply interested in science, math, and especially the field of biomedical science. When asked to join onto this innovations project as assistant researcher, she was immediately intrigued by the idea and agreed. Her background is in math and the sciences, taking classes such as AP Chemistry, Calculus 3/Linear Algebra, and AP Physics C. This past summer she had the wonderful opportunity to work in a laboratory at Wayne State University, helping graduate students and PhD's conduct their research in the field of Biomedical Engineering, greatly increasing her scientific and laboratory experience. Neha is very excited for this project and opportunity to run advanced scientific trials and improve society.
